In this project i will explain whats its like for most veterans and their families. And how they deal P.T.S.D. I incorporated English. Art,and Social Studies in to this project. For the English part i wanted to find three poems written by war veterans expressing how they feel about having P.T.S.D and then proceed to have a war veteran read then. After that i compared the poems. For my Art part i did some research on how art is a part of healing for these war veterans battling P.T.S.D. they go and they make these mask's as a part of expressing their pain. I then proceeded to make a mask my self. And lastly for Social Studies I did a lot of research on P.T.S.D and how you deal with it, the signs of having it, and how to get help. After I did that i wrote my future 22 year old a self a letter. Basically telling her to remember her promise and letting her know she is not alone. I explained the signs and gave facts so she would no what to do if she ever got diagnosed with this,
