"Stick it to the Man"

Alright so I know how cheesy this may seem at first, but believe me, it is much more in depth than it may seem. My first project was interesting to say the least. I wanted to take a relatively common phrase and break it down then apply it to everyday life. I did this using two different main components, which you'll see below. 

Art - History

So I decided that I wanted to joint Art and History together, it just made more sense. Anyway I made a Hypothetical map. This map shows what North America would look like if the Settlers had not taken over all those years ago. As you can see in the picture below, I chose a few of the most successful tribes in each region. Naturally the Iroquois confederacy had to be a choice. Then the Cahokians, which happened to be one of the most successful civilizations of all time,

I decided on an informative essay for my English portion. I used different perspectives to explain the meaning behind "Stick it to the man." I showed how there are different meanings based on how you look at it. I have linked it below. This essay is a crucial part of my project, i used different quotes and opinions to form a complete thought about my topic. The main point it will get across is that no matter how you define "Stick it to the man", everyone does just that on a daily basis. "Sticking it to the man" is a much bigger part of our lives than you may realize.
