Type Overview
The 16 personality types consist of an arrangement of 4 of the 8 cognitive functions; Said functions are split into two general categories: Perceiving functions and Judging functions. Perceiving functions are aimed towards how we focus our attention and how we gather information. Judging functions are aimed towards how we organize our experiences and make decisions. For each type they have two functions from both categories; all types have an Intuition, Sensing, Thinking, and feeling functions. However, the functions work in an odd manner. The functions fall in four places: Dominant (First), Auxiliary (Second), Tertiary (Third), Inferior (Fourth) If you have, say, Introverted Intuition in your dominant slot, this makes Extroverted Sensing your inferior same goes vice versa. One function and its direction will oppose another in it’s group (Perceiving + Judging)
