Products of Apollo
Thank you for allowing me some of your time to present the work I've produced over the course of my studies so far! A whole lot of dedication and effort goes into making each and every one of my products unique, professional, and insightful. They are a reflection of both myself and the quality of this rare program, and as such their quality is salient--so please consider looking them over, if you'd like. I promise they're worthwhile.
My first project elaborates upon the prominent issue that is religious influence on politics, specifically religious influence on LGBTQ rights. The location centers in the United States and we explore the perspectives of those affected and those in opposition of progression in the movement, and acknowledge the reality of the results. Poetry and film is utilized in this product in order to convey these messages and moral considerations.

My second project employs extensive research in order to analyze and expose the problems of Orca captivity. Taking a look at marine parks from around the world, I discuss the inhumanity of this practice as well as the dangers it poses to both the animals and the people who take care of them.

This work is an independent continuation of my final assignment in Apollo, a group project which had initially sought to explore the niche genre of entertainment known as ARGs, or alternate reality games. Due to extenuating circumstances and the natural, fluid evolution which occurs when one works amongst several individuals, the concept lost its central focus in the final iteration of our project. Consequently, I have decided to revisit the original subject matter alone in an attempt to create what was, at first, intended to be our end goal. Though I am producing such work after my time in the Apollo program, it would not have come to fruition without the facilitation of this system. As such, I am publishing it here alongside my other works in hopes that it will be additional proof of what may be provided by this unique course. Please enjoy.
