Project 3
My project three is reserch for my project four, which is going to be designing the inside of a beach house.
English:
For my englosh portion, I wrote various emails to interior desginers and then wrote interview questions for when I interviewed two interior desginers. Using a webiste called Houzz I was able to find some interior desginers around York and personally be able to interview Stevie Storck and interview over the phone Karen Viscito. From the questions that I asked, and the answers that that I recieved, I was able to formulate sound answers.
History:
For my history portion, I wrote an essay on the different types of house structures and how they pertain to the geographical location of the house. The informative essay focused the Cape Cod, Ranch, Costal, French and Contemporary style houses.
Art:
For my art portion I did a mock up of the house. I went through each room and gave a general idea about how the room will look.
Project 4
This project is an extension of the thrid porject. For my enlgish I have poems that have been created from pictures that I took on my travles. My history portion consists of photos that Ive taken from the Chincoteague and comparing them to the places that the once were. By using pictures from a provate collection published by the University of Virgina. I was able to take information from both of the pictues and create then and now statements talking about what the buildings were like then and what they were like now. For my art portion I did an inspiration board of what the master bedroom of the beach house would look like.
