Hello, my name is Mohtaz Mahmuda, I am a Muslim- American, and I am here. For any of those who-- in light of the new political propaganda that is Donald Trump-- are wondering where the Muslims in America are, I would like to finally say I am here. Right here, in your neighborhoods, your offices, and everywhere in between.
It has been a difficult past couple of months, especially since many of my Muslim brothers and sisters have stayed quiet despite the disgusting events that have been taking place in America and in the elections. But, I would like to point out, that we all are still here. I have seen many non-Muslims stand up for us, but if you are a brother or sister reading this, I encourage you to take a stand too. I encourage you to not let politicians like Donald Trump and Ben Carson take our freedom away with fear.
