Being Puerto Rican is an honor to me and anyone else who carries it in their blood. There are many reasons why we are proud of where we come from and who we are.
My project is based on the National anthems of Puerto Rico and China. In the Puerto Rican National anthem, the man sings a lot about the pride and the beauty of the Island. The Chinese National anthem sings about the fight to freedom.
I was not born in Puerto Rico but my parents were. Therefore, I was not brought up listening to the Puerto Rican song but I have a song in my heart that I sing as if it were the Puerto Rican song.
