Project 1(T.D.D) stands for Thinkers, Doers, Dreamers. I decided to take this in a music point of view. I picked Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, and Ma Rainey as my music Artists. Ma Rainey inspired Mahalia Jackson. She inspired Tina Turner, Tina Turner inspired Janet Jackson. And Janet Jackson inspired Beyonce. Each song I picked from them, in my opinion, has a special meaning to the world.

"Pretty Hurts"
Most people would say Beyonce is a great artist. She has a great singing voice, good looks, but she also sends good messages through her music. Pretty Hurts isn't just good to listen to. but the song is sending a message to girls, and women about how you shouldn't try and conform to how society want you to look. "It's the soul that needs the surgery" one very powerful line in her song. Nothing you do to yourself, spray tanning, plastic surgery, dieting. Love yourself because that's who you are.

Most people know her brother, The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. While he has some great songs, and very inspiring as well. Janet Jackson's song Rhythm Nation takes the spot. Going back to 1989 Janet Jackson's song "Rhythm Nation" is about people coming together and changing the world.

"We don't need another hero" What is Tina trying to say? "We are the children, last generation"? What does that mean. Maybe it means that it's up to us to change this world. The mess that they made for us, with wars, and the economy. It's now our time. Our time to fix what is broken, our time to make everything better. We ARE the children, the LAST generation.
