The Democratic Republic of the Congo has been troubled since before its indepedence in 1960. Now, in their second war, the Congo needs help. With rebel groups using rape as a tactic of war, and the DRC's government paying working families $1 a day, it's hard for anyone to survive. Murder and rape is an epidemic in the Congo. Over 5.4 million people have lost their lives due to the violence, and everyday more and more people are assaulted and raped. This project is aimed to raise awareness on the issues and ways to help.
