About Me

I am a senior, this is my first year in the Apollo program and I'm loving it so far. Being able to customize your own project is really fun and eye-opening. Something else you should know is that I have a slight obsession with anything and everything Disney related. (I even focused on that for my second project!) Thanks for taking the time to visit my page!!

Project 1
Mount Everest

For english, I wrote a poem in two different perspectives, creating a metaphor for ascending the tallest mountain in the world. For history, I researched one of the popular sherpas (guide). For art, I created my own prayer flags, similar to those at the base camp. They included a Tibetan proverb (translated in Nepali too), one of the eight auspicious symbols, and the background was a specific color that meant one of the five elements.

Project 3
Wolves

This project was probably my favorite one and it turned out to be the best out of all of my projects. For my English part, I wrote blog posts from the wolves perspective on hunters, their habitat, and why they are considered killers. For history, I researched wolves in Indian culture. As for art, I found/researched pictures that relate to my blog post topics and made a virtual gallery.

Project 2
Once Upon A Time (TV Show)

For english, I created a script for the TV show from a different point of view for an episode that already existed. For history, I researched and compared three different points of view of the actual characters. This included the TV show, Grimm's Fairy Tales, and how they would be percieved in the present day. For art, I put together outfits for each of the main characters from the show that would go along with my script.

Project 4
