Rubin Carter

I decided to talk about Rubin Carter and what happened throughout his life. Rubin Carter was a famous boxer during the 1960's. At the time, he thought that he on top of the world. But he thought wrong. 9 days after his fight against Juan Carlos Rivero in 1966, he was arrested for a triple homicide that he didn't commit. He was then taken to trial where the Judge found Rubin Cater for First Degree Murder and was sentenced to life in jail. Rubin Carter thought that it was unfair that he was being sent to jail because he had done nothing wrong. While in jail, Rubin Carter started to write his biography. His biography eventually fell into the hands of a young boy from Toronto, Canada, named Lesra Martin. After Lesra got done reading Rubin's book, he decided that he needed to do something to get Rubin out of jail.
